One of the means of grace, according to John Wesley, is holy conversation. It is the practice of Spirit-guided listening to one another, discerning the ways of God, consulting Scripture, using our God-given reason, respecting the value of time-honored tradition, and speaking truthfully without fear of reprisal. Linman sees this practice as one element in the larger liturgical action of Gathering, Word, Meal, and Sending. Our "spiritual worship" (cf. Rom ), he argues, is the holy conversation between worshipers and the triune God who leads us to greater participation . We have only gone through the introduction and first lesson but I am very impressed so far. What the author points out regarding our typical approach to speaking to others about our faith is right on. Our group is being challenged in a very good way and I would recommend this Bible study to anyone wanting to strengthen their "holy conversation"/5(2). Through her book, The Healing Journey, and 3-CD series, Conversations with Holy Spirit for Supernatural Breakthrough, Mary imparts supernatural and practical keys to achieve emotional and physical healing. She teaches you to.
